Cooper the wolverine in a sports bra running down a path while a moose runs towards her in the distance. I was on a heavily snowed-in trail near a school. I had seen a moose back there earlier, but didn't expect it to pop out of the woods and come barreling down the trail in my direction. I literally had no choice but to sprint 50 yards as it chased after me, gaining on me every time I looked back. The deep snow made it so I couldn't veer off the trail or step to the side, so I had no choice but to try and beat this moose in a footrace to the fence gate at the end of the trail. I finally made it to the fence by the soccer field and ran through the gate about 2 seconds before the moose JUMPED OVER THE FENCE. I jumped back over the fence to try and find safety, but sank into the snow so deep I could hardly move. Luckily, the moose ran off after jumping the fence, but had it came back around, I might have been seriously fucked. If you wanted to know how to get a wolverine to move quick, you now know how. Just sick a moose on it.

So... I got chased by a moose while on a walk today 😅

Last year was Crystal’s 30th anniversary and this year marks 30 years I’ve been drawing the Jewel Carriers team, so I wanted to redraw the very first group picture I did of everyone using the same medium. I haven’t used pencils in a while, but this was fun.

We went to the place we got married today and watched the sunset over the beach. Wind and the cold we're getting to us and I was shivering as I held her.

She compared me to a vibrator with dying batteries, shuddering intermittently.
