I know the NFL is Just Like That, especially after their support the troops stunt featuring a former player the troops murdered a few years ago, but I was revolted by the Seahawks parade being led by a bunch of military vehicles

People are knocking the number but dont realize that this is tens of thousands of organizers. In most cities DSA is one of the largest democratic membership organizations. Ive seen people go from recluses to leaders and new tendencies bloom all inside of DSAs spaces.

The choice to frame this rhetorically as a negotiation *with ICE and DHS* rather than, you know, a decision about their future made by their rightful superiors in the popularly elected legislature is, to me, incredibly grating.
