It is so hard to be trans right now, y’all. Like, I can’t speak for everyone but I’m white-knuckling it pretty much constantly at this point. I hope cis people are understanding how much is at stake for us in this moment: It’s literally our right to exist as ourselves that is being stripped away.

It serves a political purpose to create the problem of open air drug use across Ontario, especially in an urban centre like Toronto. Conservatives can claim that "crime is everywhere!" and weaponize the public's fear — no matter that they created the problem. No matter that thousands will die.

Doug Ford uses his private cellphone to conduct public business to skirt Freedom of Information rules. He said turning those phone records over would breach his privacy. The court said, oops, that only made his phone records subject to FOI. So now he’s trying to change the FOI rules instead.
