Well this is a rendering of a series of 3d models that I’ve put thousands of hours into creating, but the rendering prompts are fairly simple / iterative. I’m curious about the value of short form video vs longer form or static renderings.

Getting geared up for my commute, and thinking that it would be great if @onecityvan.bsky.social organized a cargo bike rally some time this summer... these things are a transformative tool, and we need to see bikes (and bike infrastructure) as not just recreation, but as your minivan, truck or car

Dear my delightful tweeps, some news! So after 30 years of City Hall and urban-issues stories that you all know, I'm doing something completely different — I’ve decided to run for a City Council nomination with @onecityvan.bsky.social and hopefully run on their slate this October.

Hey - I think I’ll vote for @avilewis.ca tomorrow.

Since becoming a Canadian a decade ago I haven’t had many opportunities to vote proactively (mostly just strategic votes to keep the cons out of power) & the NDP has seemed stuck in the 70s, but I like the energy and climate focus Avi is bringing.

And on the local front, I’ll just say that I’ve had lots of good @housing and policy chats with @fabulavancouver.bsky.social over the years and would be happy to support whatever it is that the next phase brings

Though, if she transitions away from writing, then I won’t have any more opportunity to receive descriptive quotes like:
