Great choice! I run Bazzite (essentially steamos) on my desktop as the daily driver nowadays, too. Steamdeck has done a lot for my faith in Linux tbh, and proton sometimes feels like magic.
I got my entire motherboard (an itx board with an integrated ryzen 9 7945hx *mobile* chip soldered to the board) from there - I’m sure it’ll arrive just fine! Great find on the deal on your part tbh.
