Ahrefs is releasing analytics and I'm surprised they didn't do so sooner
1. Increases stickiness: not 'just' a SEO tool anymore (and how often do you swap analytics providers?)
2. Improves accuracy of all their clickstream data
3. Building a moat of data, other SEO tools don't have the same data
