You didnβt watch any Wonder Woman shows/movies??? Oh my lord, the agony β¦.
I sure do! That was her claim to fame, along with the zany horror movie The Dark
Oops. Bionic Woman was a fun series
And sheβs a big fan of us gay folks. I love my Lynda
lol, I had forgotten that! Andy truly was a dandy
Glad youβve joined us, Steve. Weβre having plenty of fun here on BlueSky
Have you ever heard Louβs Take No Prisoners album, a live LP where he interrupts his songs to make insults about prominent people? That was Lou all right, the insulter as stand up comedian
Tee he he he β¦ Mikey tink he funny
Agree 100%. Lou was doing hardcore garage rock ages before it became hip. This album is a classic, and Nicoβs rendition of βAll Tomorrowβs Partiesβ is towering
Dang, Playuh, Iβm moving to your neighborhood. Are the homes cheap?
Yeah eBay, Mile High Comics and My Comic Shop are fab sources for buying older comic books online
Oh yummy mama, I donβt know this one, and that cover is so suave. Thanks Robert!
Thatβs a brilliant and harrowing song, and Lou was such an early trailblazer. Who else in 1967 was singing βUp to Lexington 125, feel sick and dirty, more dead than alive. Iβm β¦ waiting for my man.β
Love that banana!
Andy Warhol deserves our love for helping launch The Velvet Undergroundβs debut LP (out today, 1967), a rock masterpiece. Nicoβs chilly gothic voice is fab but itβs Lou Reed who plunges us into drug deals (βIβm Waiting For My Manβ), S&M (βVenus In Furβ) and addiction (βHeroinβ).
I love how Batman had multiple comics: his own plus Detective Comics and The Bold And The Brave. Great stories from all three
I really like this concept - are we about to lose Batman as he drowns in beer (oh dear!) You can tell this plotline was tongue-in-cheek

A sadomasochistic Laurel & Hardy film? π€Roman Polanski's French short The Fat & The Lean mixes Laurel & Hardy-type humor with a Samuel Beckett universe of cruelty and desperation. Check out Freeline Media's review of this little known, unique short.

For me it's that my reflexes have slowed. I don't like driving at high speeds or when there are speeding nuts on the road
Same for me. The non-conformist in a pool of public school conformity
I hate highways as well, but driving after dark is an almost complete non-starter for me now, unless itβs early in the morning when no cars are on the road
I saw The Sterile Cuckoo on TV in my first year in college and wow did I relate to quirky Pookie Adams. It was brave of Liza to play her as abrasive and not sentimentalize her. That worked exceptionally well in that heartbreaking story
Iβve heard that as well. In fact, I think Iβll be surprised if Sinners doesnβt win
After her huge success with Cabaret, Liza had three box office flops in a row with Lucky Lady, A Matter Of Time and New York New York, and I think that may have unfortunately gravitated her to the Studio 54 coke scene. Sad. She truly was a sizzling actress and deserved her two Oscar nominations

Yeah, it actually sounds like a fun end to a fulfilling life
Dang, Playuh, I don't know any of these. But you have surely piqued my curiosity
I can believe that. I mean, her Wonder Woman was kind of innocent and blank faced, and then wickit brave. She did a nice job emotionally going from A to B
The huntsman ordered to cut out Snow White's heart ... Dumbo's mother being taken from him ... Cinderella locked in the tower ... Disney! have mercy!
Really? Interesting. I think she made a very good Wonder Woman, although I haven't seen her in anything else. But for me, it's my Lynda. In 1975, if you were a) 12 years old, b) gay, in the closet, and c) looking for cultural icons, Lynda was the Queen Highness of TV greatness
You can go back to Bambiβs mother getting shot and Pinocchio turning helplessly into a donkey for βtoo intense for little kids.β Both scenes traumatized me as a kid
