2) Lent is literally 46 days if you count Sundays.

Every Sunday a celebration of the resurrection, but I think we also need pauses in the Lenten fast specifically to remind us Lent is not a diet or endurance test. Is is a season of reorienting ourselves to Christ and anticipation of Easter

Nothing makes me want to pull my hair out more than people who say “Jesus didn’t take breaks during his fast in the wilderness so I don’t take breaks on Sunday in Lent.”
