A little early, but someone placed a single daffodil flower on the commemorative plaque under the tree planted to remember the Irish Easter Rising which triggered Irelands's eventual full independence from the UK in the little park next to St. Mary's Band Hall in #Maynooth. #Bloomscrolling

These lovely white and yellow Daffodils are brightening up the footpath between #Maynooth train station and the village — must really be cheering up the commuting students on their way to lectures 🙂

The delicate detail in the early morning high clouds caught my eye as I head out the door this morning. Clouds can be so intricate!

Nature doesn't make very straight lines very often, but when silty mud freezes it splits with very straight cracks. Shot this with the new iPhone's wonderful 8x telephoto looking straight down from quite a tall bridge.

So, this is a telephoto view looking straight down on about a 1.5m square of frozen mud from a high bridge.

These beautiful Lesser Celandines add a splash of yellow to our forest floors from spring to autumn, but they spend most of that time in the shade. These first few weeks of spring, before the leaves come out, are the only chance to see them bathed in sunlight. #Bloomscrolling

Moonrise at the edge of suburbia — it was perfectly clear yesterday evening, so I could spot the full #Moon rising right at the horizon and snap this shot while waiting for the green light in the cycle lane.
