Pokopia is 10gb download, the smallest storage chip that fits it is 16gb which costs $40 at retail. You can assume that Nintendo gets it at 50% the price because of bulk order/manufacturing agreements putting it right at my quoted $20

Physical cart sharing is such a cool thing! The tangibility is what allows for stuff like this. While its not a perfect solution GKCs, are a very good engineering compromise when faced with the insane hardware costs we are facing today

Modern games are never fully on the cartridge. There is always a Day 0 update. Also putting a game on a cartridge isn’t free. For a large game like pokopia, $20 of the price would have to go just to the storage chip (kind of like an SD card). Would you be willing to pay $20 more for the game?

As a kid, i would share physical carts with my friends or brother all the time and it was the only way I’d ever get to play those games. Digital downloads don’t allow that. Why do you think every company started pushing digital

Something I appreciate about Game Key Carts that I think is overlooked (assuming the only other option is digital): My wife and I share the same carts across our switches. Physical cart sharing is way more intuitive than digital cart sharing

Ah fair point. None of the content was based into the game for either language! it was all external.
