We started translating point & click games in 2001 with the first Runaway, and have translated many other in the following years, including all the Pendulo games, A Vampyre Story, Gray Matter, Tales of Monkey Island, Deponia... PnC games were not as popular than in the 90s, but far from dead indeed.

It's a cute and funny point & click game, with one major drawback: the ending leaves you hanging in the middle of the story. So that long-awaited sequel will be very welcome.

Our patreon page has grown over the years and we wanted to turn it into something special. We had the idea to design a map where you unlock different spaces, like a mini RPG game.
So we opened our watercolor box and started painting…
J'ai le sentiment que le positionnement anticolonialiste de Relooted, tout comme celui frontalement antifasciste de Dustborn, ont pas mal joué dans les torrents de boue reçus par ces deux titres.
Mais je ne suis pas expert en la question, je me trompe peut-être.
Ce n'est pas que la couleur de peau, mais aussi le sujet abordé qui déclenche ce genre de réactions. Dustborn, de @redthreadgames.bsky.social, a connu exactement le même traitement il y a deux ans (critiques presse très correctes, review bombing un peu partout).

Je suis ça d'assez loin, mais sur les projets indé, je vois de plus en plus de devs qui fuient les usines à gaz que sont Unity et Unreal pour se tourner vers Godot ou Monogame, bien plus adaptés à ce type de projet, et capables de faire d'excellentes choses. Unrailed 2 tourne sous Godot par exemple.
