We know a wee bit about the world of One Piece but nowhere near expert. Plenty to learn about & investigate.

Yay! Second season of One Piece was absurdly good fun. Already looking forward to rewatching to catch all the little details inevitably missed. The sets! The costumes! The wigs! So many beautifully silly wigs. ππ

Grab your straw hat & get in the boat! We're off to find the One Piece.
Hurrah! It was a lovely reminder of fun times.
@henryandfriends.bsky.social Sadly the link isn't working but it was you attempting the Tor de Frons in 2012 π΄
@henryandfriends.bsky.social Happy birthday, Henry Friends!
Madame has been tidying up some of the videos we have saved on YouTube & look what popped up yesterday π»

An elderly teddy bear in camouflage gear, sitting atop a rather old and rusty cannon.
Madame, rather disappointingly, as turned down the opportunity to join the Bear's Bed Pirates when we set off again tomorrow to hunt for the One Piece. She'll regret this when, I, Bear D. Teddy, become King of the Pirates. Sorry, Luffy.
Has an official cause been released yet?
Lived there for many many years. Only moved away a couple of years ago.
Aye. A lot of damage done. Luckily seems like they stopped it from spreading to the main Central Station buildings but still sad.
Fire fighters have been tackling the blaze for over 6 hours. If the fire takes central station (glass roof behind) it will be logistically and financially crippling for the city.
A very fluffy, happy looking doughnut! Thank you.
Yes, just seen someone on site saying the station is still relatively okay but know that it is quite a muddle of buildings & tunnels & attics in that area. Hope it is looking worse than it is but seeing the corner dome collapse was horrible.
Not saying she might get pushed off the bed one day when she least expects it but who knows π¬
Thank you. Madame is hanging her head. Apparently she is inured to the hard stares of bears but can still feel the shame of turtles.
Nor should you! Meanwhile, I got knocked off my bed & was a sad & neglected ice block of a bear by the time I was discovered on the floor π
May I say you are looking particularly majestic here *salutes*
Catching up with news from Glasgow & the city centre fire. Poor Central Station. Various shops & local businesses gone. A lot of history & memories wrapped up in those buildings.

*muffled growl from hidden location* are we sure them is monkeys & not bears?
Oooooooooo! Is it World Book Day? Because we're currently reading a book about Theodore Roosevelt & here's me, a Teddy Bear π§Έπ
(Seems like he was a decent chap but didn't actually like being called Teddy. Also keen on nature but rather shooty around bears. Quite the contradiction.)

hodie diΔs librorum orbis terrarum est (Today is World Book Day). Silvius simulat personam e libro esse - eruca ieiunissima est! (Silvius is pretending to be a character from a book - he is The Very Hungry Caterpillar!)

*nods* The menu didn't mention the dessert included a wee side portion of ice cream & it was just chucked in the bag with all the hot food & a very similar looking unmarked pot of garlic dip π¬
That time the "mayonnaise" turned out to be a wee pot of melty ice cream was a particularly interesting meal.
Madame is very zonked so we have treated her to a rather nice meal delivery. Added bonus is it arrived with various wee pots of stuff & she is getting to play Condiment Roulette. Spicy? Garlicky? Melted vanilla ice cream? Fun times!
A small girl wearing a rabbit costume and blue coat carries a book as she walks to school. Her mother (head out of shot) wheels her baby brother along in a pushchair. The baby says "Peter Rabbit may be the 'Hero' of the story, but surely the obedient, widowed Mrs Rabbit is a more effective symbol of the oppression inherent within Mister McGregor's regime" The girls looks furious and snaps "Mum!! He's critiquing my world book day costume from a marxist perspective again!"
A cartoon reminder that tomorrow is World Book Day (In the UK anyway). Originally for the @theguardian.com
That was proper impressive though π
Yes! Madame nearly called the police the first time she heard the foxes.
Bit strange to leave the big city & have less wildlife around us! Get the occasional sound of gulls here but back in Glasgow there were screaming foxes & the constant magpie vs pigeon wars.
Glasgow flat was constantly under attack from moths (& mice & squirrels). It is not something we miss!
