Yeah, feeling very annoyed by this team. They had so much talent and looked like a top tier team for brief stretches. I’m probably putting too much blame on BoMel but plenty of blame to go around to the players, front office and just bad luck which seems to always happen with this team.

It’s really hard to grasp how badly this Giants team performed when it really counted. Thoroughly outplayed by NL West rivals. Terrible record against sub .500 teams. Inability to preserve wins for Verlander. I had hope for the new Buster Posey era but this season was a failure.

The Giants missing the playoffs this season is 100% due to not being competitive against the Dodgers, Padres, and the DBacks. Matching up better against those teams needs to be the number priority for next season.

Devers 1 for 26 against the Dodgers this season. They will never compete with the Dodgers if this is how it’s going to be.

Season over. There’s no reason to run Ryan Walker out there again. This has been one of the most frustrating Giants seasons and that’s saying a lot after nearly 10 years of missing the playoffs with the exception of 2021.

And it’s pretty obvious now. Trading away all of their pitching depth is costing them at this stage of the season. Maybe those moves will pay off in the long run, but the current pitching staff is not playoff caliber.
