Earlier this month, I held a workshop on how to set up your #FRC robot code for simulation. The workshop briefly touched on both 2D and 3D setups, enabling your teams to test real code before the robot is assembled by abstracting the hardware layer. You can even start building autos with this.
This is a full sim of our 2023 robot, with (the wrong) game piece manipulation and April tag detection working in AdvantageScope. This feels like the most significant leap in
#FRC since brushless motors. Being able to develop and test your code before CAD is even complete.
