Legends of Gadia and I were accepted to Washington state’s trade mission to Tokyo Game Market and then I learned that the federally funded STEP Grant that would normally help me pay for my overseas travel expenses has been suspended for this year too… 😞

As an Asian woman, it brings up old, hurtful patterns of “you’re a side character” syndrome when this exceedingly rare blockbuster that actually stars my demographic and is of comparable quality and mainstream appeal as an Endgame or a Winter Soldier gets no coverage from my favorite media outlets.
