I noticed that change live yesterday, one moment a search went through, next moment I'm getting that message. On IE9 btw.

You could try Windows 2000 Datacenter together with PAE to make use of those 16 GB RAM

Switch 2 consoles that were banned were used with a 3rd party manufactured game cartridge. It does not use exploits but tries to emulate a real cartridge. No unauthorised 3rd party software can be launched with it, only dumped (or pirated) games.

Your points on the Switch 2 contain factually wrong statements:
- The named exploit is extremely limited and won't lead to jailbreaking. No jailbreak as of now is available.
- The Switch 2 currently has no known vulnerabilities in backwards compatibility. Switch 1 exploits do not work on the console

Consider that BDs are usually ripped faster than the playback rate.

External BD-drives seem to top out at 6x speed, which would translate to 216 Mbit/s.

Internal ones can go up to 16x which would be 576 Mbit/s. So if you use one of those in an USB enclosure, it would be limited by USB 2.0 speeds.

Could you guys reconsider using AI images for articles? They aren't pleasant to look at and don't add any value but rather show disregard for art and stock photography

Ah yes, early Atoms

Fun fact: they aren't vulnerable to common speculative execution attacks like Spectre and Meltdown

Because they've got no speculative execution :^)

In the original Wii release, when P1 bounced off enemies, they remained visible and bouncable for a short time for P2 to bounce off and follow. This broke when the game got ported to the 3DS, where the hitbox was immediately removed, so P2 falls through the enemy

Wird sich Zahlentechnisch sicher auch kaum lohnen, die click through rate von Twitter soll allgemein ziemlich mies sein. Und Fans kriegen neue Videos sowieso durch den Algo reingespΓΌlt

I wouldn't buy from places that don't disclose the model they are selling.

I've bought used/refurbished drives before with 45k+ hours on the clock, so far I was lucky and they work fine. Though if they failed, the seller I bought from would even provide a 2 year warranty

You can sort of guesstimate the maximum potential runtime before buying a refurbished drive by checking when that drive model was first released.

That Windows 7 disc is a mockup, not a real disc produced by Microsoft

That thing was in my childhood PC. And I remember it showing a brief glitched screen during every XP boot that I never saw since on other video cards

Wild to me that the error report servers supposedly still work with XP era software while both the activation servers and Windows Update stopped working on XP unless you apply various workarounds

Which is why I'm now using Kagi as search engine. Allows you to prioritize useful website and to deprioritize or outright block sites that are useless or annoying. Especially useful when researching tech related issues because I can just filter out junk

Real pity that Windows on MIPS, PPC and Alpha didn't even last until Windows 2000. Especially Alpha is a huge pity, DEC made some promising chips until they were acquired and Compaq/HP killed that architecture in favour of Itanium.

Vista had the classic start menu as an option which looked nice with the classic theme
Wonder why they had to get rid of it in 7

Congrats!
Did they play that cheesy "I'm proud to be an american" song when you were there?

Ah man, that sucks :(
Maybe keeping record of everything they do could be helpful in case some retaliatory or discriminatory shenanigans could happen?

Did you call from a cell phone? I always get the option to receive an sms with a link to complete the process in a browser

Didn't check the entire list but some early Windows 8 arm32 builds could be interesting to try out (in QEMU)

Apropos 3DS, ein paar deine alten New Leaf Folgen der ersten Staffeln sind leider auf Privat, nicht so wie alle anderen die nur Unlisted sind. Würde mir das LP gerne nochmal anschauen und die Nostalgie genießen. :)

I'm really impressed how clickbaity that title is, on the edge of being fake news, but nobody bats an eye.

No, Google did not confirm any particular plugins to be disabled. And yes, uBlock is working on a Manifest v3 version and as such will keep working, albeit somewhat less effective.

Even until 2024 for Vista and 7 thanks to the 4th year of ESU for Azure
