it's not like "the worst game ever", its not even the worst fallout game. there are a lot of very cool ideas and political concepts being used. but as a video game and as an emotional experience it is just completely outclassed by fallout 1 in every way. i super do not want to finish the game.
its basically fallout 1 but bigger and longer, but also completely missing all of its atmosphere, constantly throwing gank fights at you, horribly unbalanced RNG, constant team killing from your companions, and an overall far less engaging main quest or even side content for that matter.

thanks for sticking with me through 2025, everyone. hopefully i've got more for you next year.
idk what this world has in store for me going forward, and the rhetoric against trans women and autistic people is getting scarier and scarier as time goes on. but im gonna hold out as long as i am physically able so i can experience more of what the lovers and dreamers of this world have made.
but i love art, i love creating it and engaging with it and surrounding myself with it. 100 movies, 11 seasons of television, 29 albums, 21 video games and various assorted other things. i'm grateful that despite all i've lost, i still have art to surround myself with.
it's been a long, long, long year, gang. it's been one of the worst years of my life, and the fallout from all thats happened to me will likely affect me for the rest of my life. i'd like to finish that thought with a message of hope, but i don't have any more hope to spare. i'm tired.
