Artistic Process in a nutshell.

As a random aside, I haven't bothered with housing either despite owning EA until now. None of my characters have a fixed abode, so I've settled on making a silly little Twilight cave lair for Yago.

I'll be unsubbed again before its finished but for now..

I've been doing the loremaster for every zone as I get to them, so I've only just gotten to the voidstorm and I am, slightly underwhelmed.

It's a conceptually cool zone, I like elements of it, but the whole shebang just isn't my cup of tea.

This is still a WIP, I had to just fill up a lot of space with random things around the garden to stop the cats digging in it, but I'm dead chuffed with the fountain.

Another day or two and I'll be back to those comms!

It got sore to even grip things so I was a bit, UH OH, WE'VE DONE IT THIS TIME FOR SURE, but its over the worst of it. I've learnt for the next time.

I love those guard emotes you get as a shadow priest.

I like playing with the idea Yago sees the remnants of the Hammer that became the Blade as traitors to the Old Gods, singularly obsessed with the lost cause as he is. Xalatath is a golden calf to him.

Thank you mate! I figured out this new technique of using the lasso tool, using strong shapes, then really sparingly painting over those with a textured brush.

Decided to use this piece to throw some full confidence into it with the fire!

I've caved on the expansion whilst I can't really do anything productive due to my arm (getting there, but I daren't rush back to drawing).

And the idea of Yago just being absolutely obliterated when the Sunwell got juiced up and wiped the void creatures amuses me.

Gardening and forcing out that comm was a mistake. Resting my arm on a hot water bottle for the evening, resisting the urge to draw more.

I am a silly billy, I am a chronic dickhead.

Big ups to everyone from this commission cycle. I chuffing love gardening and you've made the 2026 garden revamp possible.

My pleasure mate! Had a load of fun putting the techniques I've learned over smashing these out to further use.

Had some ferns arrive just after finishing this one, and I'm looking at the rain and the dark outside like some gardening fiend, unable to put down the trowel.

Seeing someone getting into art, uploading to the AA consistently, and you get to see them as they get better over time and develop themselves in the hobby is on of the biggest delights of the archives.

Me and a friend always talk about art that isn't technically brilliant on a skill level, but makes up for it in the sheer soul and spirit of the creators earnest efforts.

Especially in RP cause then you get the reminder again that we're all just silly folks doing silly things in a game.
