I made a ceramic cup! It's my first-ever clay vessel, and I'm pretty pleased with how well it turned out. I'm especially happy with the glaze on the ruby-crowned kinglets, which actually looks a little like their coloration.

Started off the 2025 Great Backyard Bird Count this morning with a recording of a red-shouldered hawk (it was in a tree in the alley, so not *technically* in our backyard, but close enough), a white-throated sparrow, and an American Robin. Citizen science is fun! www.birdcount.org
