... but 2005 is about the time when I started my nude collaborations with other men and women so perhaps the importance of the self portraiture wained. Anyway time will tell as to whether there is further progression, it will not be until sometime in 2026!

It's not the first time that I've got to 2005 in an online restrospective and then got stuck. Twenty years over and there are twenty more years of naked self portraiture to come but in terms of writing about it there's some kind of block. Creatively after 2025 I did not go into decline (cont...)

Folds and creases (2005)
Although I took this image in Dec 2005 (with the others reposted below) I created the quartet as a standalone artwork in 2006. I spun each image by 90° because it was appropriate in that context.
This is as each alone should be.

Your self confidence, with or without clothes, is inspiring!

Four photos are laid out in a row. A naked man lie on a bed. In the fourth image, as light falls, representing dawn, he has a visible erection. For me, the subject here, there is no connection with what I may have been dreaming about and it most often that dream will be completely non-sexual. Sleep keeps the brain and body fit and this pleasant awakening appears to be part of that natural process.

I rather like the way that the mask blends in more in the black-and-white image. Makes it more real, and spookier!

Thank you Claudia. It was the second that I most wanted to post because it is a proper portrait. A little thing that I regret is not moving the plant from the window. 😎

When I signed off from BlueSky 2 months ago I mentioned that I was busy on Flickr - for there I feel more free to post the full range of my photography. I also did some creating in those 2 months, first for a while, a nod to my erotic self.
