Naturally, they were shocked. But that’s not why I’m posting about it. It’s about what happened after that. They were all more than willing to join Telegram for me. Someone they’ve barely known for a week. Which they absolutely didn’t have to. I mean who’d be so nice to do that for a total stranger

Followed by everyone else so that I get to know the team. And just as the meeting was about to end, the topic of team outings came up and I was asked to share my phone number so that I could be added to their WhatsApp group which they’d use for planning team outings. I told them I don’t use WhatsApp

It’s been less than 10 days since I’ve joined this team. Yesterday, the first team meeting was scheduled. I had no idea what the agenda was. I joined the meeting first. Few minutes on, others started trickling in. And the agenda of the meeting happened to be me! I was asked to introduce myself.

Things are steadily going bad due to the mindless war :(
