Cassette case and shell of The Thinning of the Veil
Several The Thinning of the Veil tapes, along with some of the signed tarot cards.
Hey! My cassette released by @sokolkeep.bsky.social, The Thinning of the Veil, sold out, but I'll have a few more for sale this Bandcamp Friday over at my own Bandcamp - chattox.bandcamp.com
All cassettes will include a hand-signed tarot card, just like the ones from the label.
HAILS.to @sokolkeep.bsky.social for making this happen. Tarot cards are signed and winging their way to the label as we speak.

Hails to @sokolkeep.bsky.social for giving this ol' tape of mine a UK release! Last available in '23 from the mighty (and much missed Voices Of The Ainur), I'm eternally grateful to Sokol Keep for letting me be a part of their amazing thing. Feb 28th - sokolkeep.bandcamp.com/music
Last night I went for an aural enema. I don't go to many extreme metal shows because a: there aren't many up here (except local and usually sketchy black metal), b: I cba with metalbro posturing and c: tired, but I'll make an exception for Cattle Decapitation.
Three cassettes by Jim Kirkwood (Tales From A Melnibone Tavern, Souls That Dance On The Edge Of A Sword and Master Of Dragons, and a Forsaken Relics sticker.
Today's #dungeonsynth of the tape is three tapes by Jim Kirkwood, freshly landed from Out Of Season via Forsaken Relics.
Quest Master, playing some synthesisers. Also in shot: a MacBook.
If you see this, post a concert picture you took.
Today's #dungeonsynth pick is this big spinning disc version of Call Of The Northern Moon by the utterly incomparable Erythrite Throne. Erythrite Throne/Wyrm IS dungeon synth, and one hell of a great guy to boot.
Tarot card - ten of pentacles from a RWS deck.
My partner and I were discussing getting a dog. Later, I was getting my cards ready for a reading and this one popped out mid-shuffle. Looks like we're getting two dogs.
Oh 100% the best. This one is my second favourite.

Oh wow, you're in for a treat. I recommend them ALL! Atrium Carceri founded Cryo Chamber, Cities Last Broadcast is PΓ€r BostrΓΆm who is also Kammarheit and Aindulmedir, and God Body Disconnect has a flawless discography (also on Cryo Chamber).
Ah wow. I loved last year's spooky ghost story episode so much.
I have listened to this album to confirm that it is still my favourite album of all time. It is. Maybe it could be yours too! Dark ambient doom jazz isn't a genre most people are going to vibe with immediately, but you weirdos aren't most people. cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/miles-...
100% a perfect album.
Still time left on Bandcamp Friday! Odds are it's getting late where you are, making it the perfect time for dungeon synth. Β£3 for all my records, of which there's many!

Thank you so much! π
Shameless self-promo. It's Bandcamp Friday in about 90 minutes (8am UK time) and my entire discography is Β£2.70. chattox.bandcamp.com #dungeonsynth
It's a stunning release. I absolutely love your work!

The second is The Nameless Know Defeat by Haudh. The tapes only arrived today so this is by no means a definitive listen, but the attention to detail on these items is superb. Printed shells and glorious, human-made artwork. Death to AI! Hails to Sokol Keep! sokolkeep.bandcamp.com/album/haudh-...
Double #dungeonsynth of the day! Both are from Sokol Keep, the pioneering UK dungeon synth act turned newest UK dungeon synth label! The first is the extremely dungeony Through The Forgotten Crypt by Ancient Caverns. sokolkeep.bandcamp.com/album/ancien...
One of the greats tonight. #dungeonsynth thangorodrimsynth.bandcamp.com/album/gil-es...
So lighten up, yeah? Take the bits of religion and law and whatnot that tells you to be nice to people and live that as hard as you can, regardless of what you believe, because you're not finding out the truth on this side of the veil. π»
You're no better than people who were sure the earth was flat when all the evidence pointed in that direction. Plus, you're missing out on the fun spooky stuff.
And, atheists (or perhaps I mean r/atheists), I'm looking at you just as hard as I'm looking at any other fundamentalist whackjobs. Like you know any more than the rest of us. Your 'faith' is blinder than anyone else's.
So the very idea of being a dick to people over what they do or don't believe is, in short, utterly bloody ludicrous.
And that we will never, ever understand it in our own lifetimes, and that this is true for everyone who has ever lived and everyone who will ever live.
And by that I mean, the part of the human condition that knows there is more to all of this than our senses are capable of telling us, whatever that may be. That there is power beyond the ken of humanity, that there might be both 'good' and 'evil' forces, maybe even beings.
To me, that's the really implausible bit; that any one system is actually 'correct'. Every genuine religion/faith/belief system, i.e. one that believes it is working in the best interests of humanity is only a series of metaphors for something utterly beyond out understand but, perhaps, 'known'.
