I do a digital x by y challenge each year. Just to push me to play some board games and not just Magic and Snap.
I started strong this year and decided on a 12x12, then promptly didn’t play digital games for 9 months. Managed to finish it in the end though. Lots of roll and writes.

Occasionally I get a comment about someone finding Tempus Imperium Aeternum, which is nice and gives me a burst of energy to invest in it. This happened a few times recently which resulted in an update to the rules to clarify tunnels and 14 new maps.

This isn’t my top score against the bots, but it may be my most dominating game. Started with some pretty good tickets as well.

I continually try to get people to watch this movie. It’s gotten a boost since its disastrous release, but still far from the recognition it deserves.

PnP files for my first completed board game (Space Station Disaster 2014) have just been approved on Board Game Geek. Someday I hope to revisit this design and refine some of the rough edges, but it was always a lot of fun to play. boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/16...
Marginally I suppose. It’s more thematic than mechanical.

Meal prep is just having a lot of leftovers for a meal you didn’t eat.
I’ve been working on this for years now. It’s relatively easy to make a tiny 18XX game that fits in a tin. But that just feels like an annoying way to play. Getting the feeling of 18XX with a game that feels right at tin size is the elusive goal. Good luck!

I also love heist movies and what others have said are some of my favorites, but the “One Crew over the Crewcoo's Morty” episode of Rick & Morty is great if your a fan of heist movies.

If some fellow 🎲✂️ designers have a few minutes, consider chipping in to review entrants to this year's Board Game Design Workshop contest. I found that it takes about eight minutes or less to watch the 2 min video, write up your thoughts, and maybe rewatch to double check your feedback.
Thought this was in response to my contest post. Haha.
We get a few designs from intergenerational design teams. And some from kids. But it’s mostly adults and all compete on the same level. So I wouldn’t consider any help or codesigning cheating.
These look great. The future is bright.
