It’s sort of being misrepresented online. He gave a number of reasons in his statement for his mixed feelings. He made the call to reflect the opposition in his vote knowing he would be the only one. He wasn’t endorsing using public comment as a barometer for votes in general.
It seems really disproportionate to me to overlook all of Seans effort and work so far (and over the next year) because you disagree with one protest vote
