I think people are burnt out on social media and don't want to create another account to manage themselves, and artist PR/managers are also probably seeing Bluesky as small potatoes they don't need to bother with
Yeah, I'm really trying to reach the music world and it sucks that so many people have not moved over from Twitter or broadened. So most of the people I reach here are in the games or art space. You should be able to pick a popular musician you like and find them here, and like 90% are not here.

You know, I thought about Highguard, and I guess my thought was "at least it got to see the light of day and be played for a month, when this probably won't". I guess that's the multiplayer bump, they'll at least let it come out and die
But obviously, as we're all trying to coast by and afford to make the next creation, every purchase helps regardless of my blanket statement feeling on the future
I'm sorry to say it, but as someone who works entirely in indie games, they will not be able to save the industry or be saved by supporters. They have a lot of the same problems in smaller scale. They will always be a side thing with breakout hits now and then
They will never make The One to grab me, I'll sooner just stop playing and contributing money to the AAA industry entirely. IDK, I can't be alone in this.
This is also all just a small skirmish on the sidelines when like over half of the industry is Roblox and Fortnite anyway lol
I've been playing games for like 31 years and I do not like multiplayer, outside of a game night with friends once every two months. I also get anxiety from the GaaS games that release and vault content at a rate that makes it feel like a job to play them. I have a job already.
Seems like there's probably more story behind this and why the $44m figure was sprung on them. But it feels like we're waist-deep in the future I've been worried about for like 10 years where the people with money are turning away from new, unproven single-player games for good

My tan Camry run came to an end in a five-car pileup (I think I was car 3 or 4) on the way to an anime convention while I was listening to Obokuri Eeumi from the Samurai Champloo soundtrack, the song that plays when Mugen almost dies. It was my fave song at the time but it has trauma now. Rip camry
