Both however have really dropped off for a while now. Trossard since the turn of the new year, outside of Sunderland (H) and Martinelli has been so poor over the past month. Must do better.

Any potential success Arsenal have this season will see David Raya being one of the key cornerstones.
A world class keeper, who has frequently made big saves in critical game states and offers an abundance of other qualities which go unnoticed.

Reason why this matters so much is because of the fixture schedule: it’s gruesome and that was my concern.
Imagine having to play the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, etc in between the PL. We caught life.

But in terms of the actual nuances, it will depend on what Chelsea do.
If they play a back five, like at the Emirates in the cup (from minute 1 to 60 ish) then I do think we will see similar things to what was on display vs Spurs :)

We’ve seen glimpses for us of his tremendous ability at LCB.
He’s physically more dominant than Hincapie vs big CFs and he would rival Saliba as our best ball player at the back.
Learning more about Hincapie is reaffirming my initial feeling that in big Gabi’s absence, Calafiori should be LCB and Hincapie LB.
I watched Calafiori extensively before we signed him and he has world class CB potential…

There’s no denying it:
Gyokeres’ cele absolutely slaps. Every single time
Finally rewatched the game and have loads of thoughts
Firstly, hands down Eze, Saka, Gyokeres, Hincapie and Raya were our best performers; in no particular order.
