Despite being down to ten men, the Rooks have seen this through pretty comfortably. Dark arts have been deployed by both sides. Game should finish before midnight. Should.
3-1. So not only was it a red card for keeper, but a penalty. He had ball in hand when the incident occurred, so can only assume he struck another player. Penalty converted. And a game that was comfortably ours is now in doubt...
Well... It was all going swimmingly. And now our keeper has been sent off for something off the ball.
Second half just underway and GOOOAALLL. Corner beautifully whipped and header bangs off crossbar and over the line, with flag from (Russian) lino. 3-0 Lewes.
HT. Lewes 2 vs Three Bridges 0. Comfortable so far, that missed penalty aside.
GOOAALLL. 2-0 Lewes. Great counter attack down the left, ducks inside and buries it.
Three Bridges get a penalty of their own, but it's whacked against post and crawls across goal before being cleared. Still 1-0 Lewes.
GOOOAALLL. Rooks 1-0 up from a penalty. Have to say, it was a very soft decision. But we'll take it.
We are down at a busy Culver Lane for the Under-18s County Cup Final as the boys take on Three Bridges
A tremendous effort from all the Rooks fans who made the journey to Plymouth today, including Mike Wallis who sent in this match report:

Apologies. Been travelling a lot this afternoon but it was a 2-0 defeat for the women at Plymouth this afternoon.
Women 1-0 down at half-time at Plymouth, and an Emily Moore down after a first-half injury. #COYR
Knew I'd dreamt that bit
Eight miles on foot, solving crosswords, eating your own body weight in fried food... it's all in a day's work for Rooks away trippers, as you'll find out in the match report from Brentwood:

FT. 2-1 Brentwood. Good effort but self-harmed again.
Another good save from Louis at near post.
Bassett with a low skimmer but no real danger. We are pushing.
West tries one on his left but wafted well wide. Nunn on for Unwin.
Brentwood hit the post. We are just about still in this.
Janneh has also snuck on for Christian-Law
Walker on for Booth
2-1 Brentwood. Sach converts the spot-kick.
Brentwood penalty. Christian-Law with a poor back pass and Louis ends up bringing the man down.
Kpakpe forced off, Roberts on.
Floodlights update: they're all working now. At the 13th attempt.
Wild tackle on Kpakpe. Wins ball but follow through is nasty. Ref not bothered.
West with a spank from edge of box. A yard over.
Half the floodlights are on. The end at which Brentwood are shooting towards. Fix.
Brentwood keep trying to turn the floodlights on, but they go off within seconds. Must have hired the Whitehawk electrician.
