Thats what I mean, its pretty audacious to put it on the dashboard the first thing someone new sees, and have it be not a refined AI image, but a legitimately half assed image.

I yearn for the days when an intern would have slapped a stock image in there.

Its not surprising but it is gross and I think damaging to the brand to see Shopify using shitty AI imagery on their dashboard.

That can’t be true, I think it’s worth engaging with people you care about, I think you can gently remind them of the importance of real human connection.

Big tech wants you to think it’s inevitable that everyone needs this and people can’t be brought back from the brink.
