My friends and I loved the gif making station at MAGFest! ๐คฃ
Had an awesome time with my homies at MAGFest! Great first MAGFest experience; can't wait to go next year! Hopefully with a much more robust cow udder controller ๐

Get hyped.
The AI Exhibit at the Exploratorium opens this Thursday!
We're almost there!

Had a great time at the TCA seminar at my home dojo in SF! I feel so lucky to be able to learn from such a globally well known and amazing Aikidoka.
OK. One seminar down this year, two more to go (each a different martial art ๐ฑ)
A photograph of a bunch of postcards from Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy strewn across a restaurant table with glasses of an orange transparent liquid next to them.
Nearing the end of my trip along the Mediterranean from Barcelona through the French Riviera, around the boot of Italy, to the Balkans. Finishing up writing postcards while drinking Aperol Spritzes with my mom in Venice.
Always love sending my friends little hellos from afar ๐
That's definitely the right conclusion tbh
And makes sense. Zapier/IFTTT are both incredibly powerful! I still have a lot of clients that use it for all sorts of workflows.
Used Cursor for the first time this week (as opposed to Copilot).
Wow. It's miles ahead of Copilot in terms of it's debugging process and ability to show the steps it's taking.
Hasn't been able to solve anything yet for me, but it's a great pair programming buddy, for sure.
Monday: Filipino Martial Arts

Guys its only Wednesday and I'm already dead ๐
A graphic showing a RETARD acronym with tech logos beneath. R is React, E for express, TA for Tailwind, R for Redos, and D for Deno
Introducing: The RETARD stack
Yes, but it is still a joke.
I've also heard the "programming is dead" narrative a LOT, years before this current wave of AI (e.g. no-code solutions, automations, code completion plugins, etc)
๐คทโโ๏ธ
Now ain't that the truth!
I dunno man, *good* programming has been dead since JavaScript became an acceptable backend language. ๐คฃ
Researchers find that some people are becoming too emotionally dependent on AI chatbots and losing self confidence and sense of self.
Really curious what big proponents of AI chatbots think. Any thoughts y'all?

Walk around SF, see silly tech billboards.
No matter how hard I try, I can't escape tech ๐คฃ

A message saying "sheath pics yes.. That's actually amazing I cannot believe you did a u up at midnight to send me sheath pics.. You are so good"

When a guy you like sends you unsolicited sword pics, send back unsolicited sheath pics days later without context when he least expects it.
Taking E-Girl concepts 1 and 2 and trying to make a riggable puppet.
No idea if T-Pose works for 2D rigging...I guess I'll find out the hard way!
Also lol did I actually just make myself an E-Girl V-Tuber persona? ๐คฃ
#art
I don't remember such a time ever existing, but I also worked for startups in SF so my entire perception of reality is warped ๐คฃ
A screenshot of keyboard settings on a mac showing Key Repeat Rate at "Fast" and Delay until repeat at "Short"
Are you on a Mac right now?
Stop everything you're doing, open your Keyboard settings, and set Key repeat rate to "Fast" and Delay until repeat to "Short".
Enjoy feeling like you're a typing champion.
You're welcome.
Belle Delphine makes over $1M a month on OF and lesser known female influencers are making millions off of AI girlfriends modeled after themselves and their own persona.
Sometimes I wonder why I even make art or try to make useful or educational content ๐คฃ๐ญ
What a world.
But is natural the best e-girl look?
Awesome thanks for the feedback!
A 3-up of concept art for an e-girl character including 3 options for hair. Long silver hair, pink pigtails, and green medium-length hair. All are dressed in a black crop-top with underboob showing, long black and white striped sleeves, black short shorts, and long white socks, and a headset with cat ears.
Working on the e-girl aesthetic for a game character.
Which hair do we like best? Or is there a canonical e-girl hair style I should be doing not pictured here? ๐ค
Also how do we feel about outfit?
It is never ending.
I keep having to remind myself that the reason it seems never ending is actually because I'm very growth oriented, and not everyone thinks that way.
Just think of how different your life would be if you stopped trying to grow much earlier!
Hell yes. Keep doing those little retrospectives...it's sometimes hard to see how far we've come on our paths in the moment. We gotta celebrate all the progress made, even if non-linear!
A two pane graphic, the top captioned "The way people think it looks:" and a linear path from school to internship to associate to manager to executive. The bottom captioned "How it can also look" with a much less linear path going from school to work study to associate to layoff to year abroad to back to school to manager to career pivot to online learning courses to entrepreneur
Wow. Congrats on persevering and getting to where you are now. To me that's a TRUE success story.
I saw this graphic on LinkedIn once in RE: of how we think life should work and it really stuck with me. I think you would appreciate it too
I agree. We spent too long indoors for the lockdown and those desires to interact in person built pressure. Now we gotta find and create those outlets for the pressure to escape into
This is all to say that just because you're "behind" now, doesn't mean you will be later. And just because others are "ahead" now, doesn't mean they will be later either.
Take your time and do things your own way. Don't compare yourself to others. (7/7)
Many of my childhood friends have PhDs from prestigious universities and many of my university and work friends have had illustrious careers.
Today, they all struggle with all the same things any of us do: self confidence, job stability, relationships, etc. (6/7)
In just the last few years, I've finally come to see more clearly.
I had wisdom that many in my life didn't, and I had an inquisitive nature that caused me to question what others didn't think to.
I was smart. Just a different kind of smart than I was taught to recognize. (5/7)
