It is totally fine to kill unarmed civilians because it is about survival? Did I get you right? One human's life is more worth than another's?
I repeat: It is never okay to kill unarmed civilians. It can happen, and it is a tragedy when that happens. But it should never be an accepted strategy.
An unarmed civilian's right to life trumps the desire for punishment, retaliation, or self-defense. If your opponent is hiding behind human shields, then the answer can never be to kill the human shields; instead, a different approach is needed.
