Iβve yo-yoβd over the years between Things & Todoist - always seem to return to Todoist. Itβs flexible, quick to add Tasks with natural language, and always being updated & improved. Theyβre also pretty discerning about adding new features, so itβs never felt like it suffers feature bloat βοΈ
βZaikaβ by Romy Gill is a great book - technically Vegan, but still, The Green Roasting Tin by Rukmini Iyer, and Plants Only by Gaz Oakley π
@liambrazier.bsky.social hey Poker Face is now available on Now TV or Sky Max β just found out! βοΈ
I havenβt been able to find the article but this excerpt is from their terms of service - itβs far reaching
Ah I see, yeah .art was quite stringent, Iβm on mastodon .design now and itβs much much more chill.
From what Iβve heard it is much worse than that, I will try and find that info and let you know
It's not that I don't like Bsky, the vibe is very different, more similar to Twitter - good and bad. Also in the back of my mind is the terms and conditions on here, it's far reaching, they basically have the rights to anything you post π¬
Totally, and I'm not super technical, I mean I use a computer for digital art, but I can't write code, so I'm not sure what particular parts you found complicated. Anyway I sound like some kind of recruiter π I just like the community on there, and I don't have to see Ai crap βοΈ
But hey, if it's not for you, it's not for you. I just see a lot of takes from folks who tried one server, one flavour of mastodon and didn't like it, but part of the beauty I suppose is being able to move and try another flavour βοΈ
Oh I haven't found that at all really - I must follow people across a dozen instances, .art, .social etc, I can talk to them, see their posts in my timeline. I did experience the blocking issues when I was on .art, but as I say that doesn't happen on every server. It's def a personal preference
Haha your a happy chap arenβt you π
If youβre interested, this customisable guide is really useful, and took me approx 15min to complete moving servers βοΈ
https://guide.toot.as/guide/move-mastodon-server/
This is all true, but the great thing about federated social networks is you have a choice - I agree with your takes on .art, so I just moved to .design. But thereβs tons of servers and you can move and take your followers with you. Twitter - Iβm stuck with Musk and I donβt get to move from his hell
unfortunately itβs a lot of Ai images, and completely random stuff not art related - some grim images of tape worms or something π€’
Me and Coop being goofs this AM - whenever I try and take a photo of Cooper heβs like NOPE, and heβll squirmβ¦ or stick a foot in my face π
#BskyCats
Kylie looks amazing, love the video, super catchy β definitely gonna be running to this track on the treadmill in the AM! πββοΈπ§

Itβs sad we have to be so βculture-warβ about everything β I spoke to my server admin and they said they would likely have to block initially simply from an infrastructure perspective - our server wouldnβt cope with masto posts reaching millions of insta users and going viral βοΈ
As of today, the so-called #MakeSolo2Happen day, I've drawn my 129th #StarWars - nay #StarDraws portrait. Donald Glover, who gave great BDW energy as Lando back in 2018.
There are still rumbles of maybe a Disney+ 'Lando' vehicle and I'm here for it 100%.
Yeah exactly - a lot of these things arenβt designed to work with illustrator accounts π€·ββοΈ
Still finding my way here but am liking the vibes, as they say. It's the 'other place' minus everything they chopped, changed, and haphazardly bolted on over there.
Is there some clever way to check if the people you follow THERE are HERE?
Yeah it feels like this is an oversight - it should tie the .com handle to your existing username, so that both are on the same account βοΈ
I think that you can use fedifinder - but I believe it relies on the Twitter user placing their Bsky handle on their profile
Welcome @liambrazier.bsky.social to Bluesky! βοΈ
Well, hello here. Below is something appropriately blue sky abundant. I did a bunch of these landscapes in 2015 for the BBC R3 Proms coverage - I think they used them over socials and on the web.
Anyway, if youβre finding me via OTHER social media sites; hello again. If youβre new; welcome.
Had fun mixing light line and fluorescent pink on this new print. It feels super 90s to me and now I want to stay up late and watch MTV oddities.
Back from the gym - having a coffee with Cooper in the garden π»
