I’ve yo-yo’d over the years between Things & Todoist - always seem to return to Todoist. It’s flexible, quick to add Tasks with natural language, and always being updated & improved. They’re also pretty discerning about adding new features, so it’s never felt like it suffers feature bloat ✌️
‘Zaika’ by Romy Gill is a great book - technically Vegan, but still, The Green Roasting Tin by Rukmini Iyer, and Plants Only by Gaz Oakley 😋

It's not that I don't like Bsky, the vibe is very different, more similar to Twitter - good and bad. Also in the back of my mind is the terms and conditions on here, it's far reaching, they basically have the rights to anything you post 😬
Totally, and I'm not super technical, I mean I use a computer for digital art, but I can't write code, so I'm not sure what particular parts you found complicated. Anyway I sound like some kind of recruiter 😅 I just like the community on there, and I don't have to see Ai crap ✌️
But hey, if it's not for you, it's not for you. I just see a lot of takes from folks who tried one server, one flavour of mastodon and didn't like it, but part of the beauty I suppose is being able to move and try another flavour ✌️
Oh I haven't found that at all really - I must follow people across a dozen instances, .art, .social etc, I can talk to them, see their posts in my timeline. I did experience the blocking issues when I was on .art, but as I say that doesn't happen on every server. It's def a personal preference

This is all true, but the great thing about federated social networks is you have a choice - I agree with your takes on .art, so I just moved to .design. But there’s tons of servers and you can move and take your followers with you. Twitter - I’m stuck with Musk and I don’t get to move from his hell
unfortunately it’s a lot of Ai images, and completely random stuff not art related - some grim images of tape worms or something 🤢
Me and Coop being goofs this AM - whenever I try and take a photo of Cooper he’s like NOPE, and he’ll squirm… or stick a foot in my face 😂

It’s sad we have to be so ‘culture-war’ about everything — I spoke to my server admin and they said they would likely have to block initially simply from an infrastructure perspective - our server wouldn’t cope with masto posts reaching millions of insta users and going viral ✌️

Yeah it feels like this is an oversight - it should tie the .com handle to your existing username, so that both are on the same account ✌️
I think that you can use fedifinder - but I believe it relies on the Twitter user placing their Bsky handle on their profile

Well, hello here. Below is something appropriately blue sky abundant. I did a bunch of these landscapes in 2015 for the BBC R3 Proms coverage - I think they used them over socials and on the web.
