If I’m being honest with myself, I don’t mind ads when they’re in the right amount and appropriate to my tastes and interests. Insta is the best at this. I’ve gotten ads for concert tickets, subversive shirts, queer trinkets… and every now and then ketamine. Respect the algo.
Getting a new manager is always awkward af. Like, how do you re-explain to someone new you’re doing the bare minimum not to get fired because your raises just don’t keep up with inflation?
