Yes, it's one of my absolute favourite places to visit. I've had so many wonderful wildlife sightings there!
A reddish-brown bear standing on the edge of a paved road, eating dandelions that are growing beside the road.
Won't be long until these beauties are back out and about. This is a cinnamon coloured Black Bear photographed in Waterton Lakes National Park, Canada a couple of years ago. #wildlife
What a beauty!
I love the mood of this shot. Nicely done!
My brother-in-law is an accomplished animator. He's definitely worth a follow if you'd like to see his process and amazing work! #animation #artist
A black cat sitting on a top of a scratching post. An orange and yellow painting is blurred in the background.
More flattering angle. #Caturday
A black cat captured mid-yawn making her little slightly crazy. Her ears are pulled back, her tongue is sticking out and you can see her sharp teeth. Admittedly, it is not a flattering photo.
Cat thought I should delete this one, but I kind of like it. #Caturday #SleepyCat
It's pretty amazing how light owls are compared to their size!
Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. They're much appreciated!
Definitely one of the cutest owls out there, this Boreal Owl was sitting in a tree keeping an eye out for its next meal (which it did indeed find). NOTE: This video was taken at a distance with a long lens and subsequently cropped, it's important to give wildlife their space! #birds #owls
Also, a nudge to encourage you to add ALT-text to your images. It's very much appreciated by those who benefit from it.
Another beautiful capture!
Beautiful shots!
Happy #FoxyFriday! Try to find time to explore this weekend.
And here's the conductor... bsky.app/profile/timo...
Thanks!
Interestingly, I do actually refer to this shot as "The Barn Swallow Choir."
That's fantastic news. Congrats!
Thanks!
A blue Barn Swallow arrives to bring food to its four youngsters that are sitting on a cattail.
It worked! A parent arrived with dinner shortly after the first photo was taken. #BirdOfTheDay #ShoutItOut
Thanks Rain!
Congratulations!
Four young Barn Swallows sitting on a cattail. Their beaks are wide open.
I'm told today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #ShoutItOut so felt like a good time share this one. #birds
I had taken a break as well, but was very pleasantly surprised by Andor.
A portrait of an adult female grizzly bear mom, standing up being a rock and looking back towards the camera. She had distinctive reddish fur on her face and ears.
A long-tailed weasel standing attentively in short green grass. It is a small mustelid with a long body, light brown belly and dark brow and white patterned face. Its long, black-tipped tail is visible in the background.
A pair of fledgling great horned owls sitting side by side on a tree. The owl on the right is facing away from the camera, reaching back over its shoulder to preen its feather. Itβs sibling sitting by its side with one of its feathers in its bill and its claw raised grabbing out for it.
A bobcat sitting in tall green and brown grass, letting out a yawn with its head back, eyes closed, and mouth wide open.
On this #WorldWildlifeDay Iβm reflecting on how fortunate Iβve been to encounter so much diverse wildlife. There is so much magic in our environment that needs protecting.
Thanks, much appreciated!
Thanks Steve!
Well, I tried. π
