I prioritized my physical health last year and I’m experiencing all the benefits in my mental health and my personal relationships. It’s brought me so much more joy.

I think being polyamorous has really helped set me up for success with fostering a dog. It happened so quickly after my dog died, but I had the resources and knowledge to build and nurture a relationship with full knowledge that we will eventually outgrow it. The commitment is just as strong.

The last couple years, my friends have looked to been thoroughly entertained by my “dating wrapped” recaps. Unfortunately 2024 is the year I went on zero first dates. I even had to say to someone “I’m not not single but I’m also not available even though I’m polyamorous.”
