i think theres a misconception that habibi/habibti is used exclusively between lovers. that can be the case but it can also be used between friends and even strangers in casual convo too lolololol

arabic terms of endearments are not used the same way as english ones are like plssss

reading fics with arab characters can be a can of worms bc i start cringing anytime they use terms of endearments and sometimes its incorrect
