Despite municipal governments controlling things that affect residents’ everyday lives and generate plenty of heated debate, turnout in municipal elections can be far lower than provincial or federal ones.

Bike lanes often look empty because they are so much more efficient at moving people. Even when tons of people use a bike lane, it never fills up the way a car lane will.
Both computer models and real world studies agree that in the long term, bike lanes improve traffic by removing vehicles.

It's wild that Ford is spending Northern Ontarian's money to rip out bike lanes in Toronto.
In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes.
So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.
