My apologies, I hadn't picked up on this being specifically targeting LGBTQIA+ communities within the USA. So I'll admit that my misunderstanding definitely colored my response here.

Especially since during the pandemic, the current douchebag in charge was still in his first term, and he's long since proven he has it out for any kind of queer community (especially trans & intersex given recent government actions)

So he likely wanted to avoid it getting "mainstream" adoption

I do second this. I've seen places in the USA that fly that pride flag, but I think its less common given the current state of the country rn.

A number of cities or states with more conservative governments have outright banned the one you highlighted (along with other pride flags)

And I swear to god if I see reblogs and hints of senator or vagueposting after this I will delete this and crash the fuck out.

Yknow what, fuck it. I'm firing a rent lowering shot because I need some catharsis at the moment.

I dont want to hurt people like that again. I dont want to be like the person who abused my trust & goodwill & my willingness to be patient.

So I refuse to present myself as anything more than a person whose just as capable of evil of fucking up as everyone else.

And through those former friends I -know- I hurt a lot of people, intentionally or not, subtly or apparent, because I thought I could trust their kindness. That they werent using their "good reputation" in the RP community to hurt others, to literally drive some off the server.

This is why I try my best to not present myself or even my OCs as "uwu smol gentle beans" or with related language & imagery.

Because I've BEEN hurt by people like that. I've BEEN hurt and manipulated by people acting kind, only to discover just how shit they were well after.

It really does suck, especially since it's a situation where the person in question can...well, sort of bank on others not assuming the worst about them.

Which is an immensely frustrating, if somewhat subtle at times, abuse of trust.

He would absolutely do deeply thoughtful and romantic gestures if given the chance. Raubahn already cares and loves the people around him so deeply!!

Given his level of activity, his combat style, and well, being a giant of a man with a pretty broad build, I could see him being the type of guy whose able to finish off food on his own that's meant to serve like, a small group.

Like he won't (that would be rude) but he can if needs be.
