I have been thinking a lot about what the future of libraries could be in an algorithmic economy. A real pleasure to share these thoughts and provocations through the fantastic Katina Magazine. Let me know what you think?

Dune, one of my favourite books and I need to go back to the soundtrack. I haven't listened to Man of Steel soundtrack for some time now so definitely adding to my list. Thanks for sharing.
No denying that. I loved the movies too!
Putting it on my list to listen to. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent choice, I loved the Spiderman and Alice in Wonderland soundtracks but need to listen to his work more.
I recognise that you will have your own taste but the soundtracks of Tron Legacy and Interstellar are two of the best movie soundtracks I have ever heard. Any other great soundtracks you can think of?

I was delighted to open the #DHOxSS2025 #AILibraries workshop stream today with a keynote on AI and Research Libraries. Really engaging conversations with colleagues in the summer school and lots of learning. Thank you for the invitation @dhoxss.bsky.social.
Over 18M people in the UK suffer from Hayfever including me. Why haven't we yet found a cure for it! I do wonder whether this is an area of focus for medical research and research funding, as it is not life threatening. It is highly debilitating though in my view. #hayfever
One of the highlights of the year!!
Thank you White Rose Libraries. It has been a privilege working for the board and the wider network.
βData is never neutralβ - here is @adamrutherford.bsky.social data checklist #LKFS2025 - a wonderful way to conclude today and the brilliant conversations we had today.

Final session of the day by @adamrutherford.bsky.social on Data, Knowledge and Bias at #LKFS2025. I am biased but today has been a wonderful day of conversations and debates. Thank you to everyone in person and online ππ½
12 official languages in South Africa, 32 regional languages in India. This has huge impact on collection strategy and AI models data. This is the perspective that makes me think how we can often think too simplistically about global knowledge system but in reality so much nuance is needed #LKFS2025
