An ambivert’s week is unpredictable. One day, socializing feels like Edward Scissorhands ASMR w/ nails on a chalkboard, and the next, I’m hosting a TED talk no one asked for, giving out my thoughts on cereal mascots, which one I fell in love with & which one reminds me of my dad.

Umm I feel YouTube has more cultural and personal like categories when it comes to genres. Apple more generic genres. Like youtube has Arabic African etc.

Radios if I recall, apple has bigger and better. Youtube is based on what you typically listen to etc

Switched to apple from spotify years ago. Spotify wasn't bad, big library of music. Primarily switched bc verizon gave it for free and I had an iPhone and then got home speakers. I feel the UI is easier on apple. We had youtube music, I felt lost or things were a tad bit harder to find.

There is something rewarding about beating a game/level that would send you back to the beginning if you failed. That's why I respect the older games.

BUT, I still get that competitive itch & fun from playing vs really good players in today's games—Fortnite, R6, Overwatch 2. I still have skills!😂

When a developer you claim to really like and respects makes a post about their game being on sale?

It's not the time they want to hear your personal hang-ups on why you hate their game... it's not. You can just not post.

I tend to keep thoughts like this to myself but let this one out. It was fun writing it. The idea actually stemmed from seeing my oldest daughter playing with balloons. She has an attachment to one for the last four days. Unfilled, well, filled with drool but she loves it😅

She’s low-key amazed. For someone who’s avoided people her whole life, she’s suddenly super curious about this guy. It’s ridiculous, insane, ludicrous—but she can’t help herself. The chemistry? It’s there. The mutual balloon obsession? Unmatched. Could this… actually work?

Turns out he’s just as obsessed with balloons as she is. In fact, he broke the Guinness World Record for the longest hot air balloon flight 🏆. That propelled him into running his own air balloon service, partnering with nonprofits to give free rides to people who want to fly

The guy? Calm, apologetic, a little dorky. They exchange info and go their separate ways. But days later, fate strikes again. She runs into him somewhere random (post office etc). Despite being a loner, she starts a conversation. And yes, she blames the balloon sticker.

She’s on her way home when—BAM—she gets rear-ended. She’s annoyed but calm, gets out of the car, does the usual accident scene stuff, and goes to get his license plate. That’s when she notices it: a sticker of a hot air balloon on his rear bumper.

Random idea just popped in my head:

A Romcom about a girl who grew up loving the quiet, solo life but had a fascination with balloons. She has a wildly successful Etsy store selling balloon-themed crafts & is perfectly happy. Then she meets this guy..by accident. Literally.
