My hope was that I could at least get feeling in my arms back and some strength in my legs. Never did I expect how far I would come. 14 months post op and I'm walking distances without my crutches. I'm cooking dinner without my mobility scooter. 14 months ago I could barely make a fist. 3/
Starting with a standard walker I also used a wheelchair and mobility scooter for most activities and I couldn't walk at all on my own. I continued deteriorating the next 12 years and in August of '23 I blew out my neck and had a fusion of my c4,5,6 vertebrae. 2/
Some background: I'm 42 and I have a rare neurodegenerative disorder called Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. I walked with an irregular gait my whole life but in 2011 I began to deteriorate fairly quickly. I began using mobility aids in November of '11 1/

I often marvel at such things.
I've watched pro wrestling since I was 6(35 years)& it was always my dream to take part. When I was younger & more mobile I wanted to wrestle, when that wasn't an option I worked my way into commentary, now I'm a part of a faction.
