Please show me how this is misinformation? Studies on masks are all over the place in terms of quality, sometimes, but I've read dozens on efficacy. Yes, they do protect you, but not perfectly, and *less if you're immune compromised,* like *I am,* from LC, lol

Additionally, masks are only required in hospitals *if you are sick,* and are commonly worn in Asian countries when sick. Prior to the pandemic, I only saw masking when people were ill. It is not misinformation to say that people with more exposures masking is most effective for reducing sickness.

Masks didn't do a whole lot for omicron, and the data I've seen shows that a mask doesn't offer more than like 30% protection boost if you're around unmasked people with COVID. Less if immunocomp But a person with COVID masking is what will do the most to reduce the spread. Obv 2 way masking is best

If others actually followed the science, they'd realize that masking is most effective when people who have more exposures wear masks. Masks are most effective at keeping *others* safe from *us,* and is less effective at protecting us from others. Esp if you're already immune compromised🙃
