they even have my eyes
yesss!! lovely
ooh very nice!! this is such a novel idea, i can imagine it being really tough to get something like this working, design-wise. i love the idea of clearing out enough space being the progression requirement, that could work in a lot of contexts. success feels very chance-based, but very fun!
ah this is great! i really enjoy the music in this one, a very danceable game. the visual novel-y aspect is a really neat contrast to the roguelike-y gameplay. i haven't gotten to the bottom yet, it gets pretty tricky!
same I feel like I've locked myself into this one for life lol
i think the randomized enemies in the last area is a super cool capstone mechanic, it makes that floor really interesting without being overwhelming. the set of abilities is also great (i didnt realize the power of the wall spell until way late!)
really fun!!
clever counterbalance to their attack area. having adjacent player-color kings is by far the toughest scenario to solve, but it led to some really interesting problem solving (e.g. abusing doorway visibility to pick them off and force the others out of view), but many times it's guaranteed damage
did it!!
this game is soo so good. ive played this one the longest by far out of all the 7drl entries so far. i got to the last level 4 times but it crashed the first 3, i was determined to finish it!!
The mechanics all compliment each other soo well. having alternating parity enemies is a really
loop of going through multiple runs while keeping old known items. having more enemy types to give more purpose to health/abilities would make this really fun!
this is great! i really like how the health is tied to length, which is both diegetic and also results in a neat form of self-balancing since the longer you are the easier you are to hit. testing out items to discover their ability is fun, i like the
ive so badly wanted to play imbroglio since I found it, but I've never owned a supported device and there's no way to emulate it :(
one of my all time favorite games. it occupies my mind more than most games
the flags are separate from the settings, in case that's where you checked. searching "color", etc. in the flags does show this one. (i agree it's silly that they're separate)
color profiles are annoying. good luck on the jam!!
by "chromium does not appear to have color correction" do you mean there's no option for it, or that it isn't applying any?
in case you missed it, there's a color profile flag at
chrome://flags/#force-color-profile
that you could try playing around with
wow gorgeous
that's awesome, congrats! the game looks great
feel free to not answer, but is the red area accessible at all? I've played through the game twice and haven't found anything outside the main path, but im suspicious.. I yearn for more of your brutal platforming level design!
@brlka.com Love Eternal is absolutely fantastic. it had so many genuinely creative moments, i havent had a game take me by surprise as much as this did with how much it toyed with the medium. incredible visuals, crazy narrative, great levels. i had a lot of fun streaming my playthrough to friends :)

hourly comics day makes me depressed. everybody's just doing shit huh? i feel like i barely have enough time to wake up and sleep
i'm glad to hear it! :)
this looks awesome! good luck with development :)
this looks awesome
if someone doesn't care about their work enough to engage with the process, then i definitely won't care about their work. why should i?
make a sprite2D with a square texture, and add this shader as the material. under "shader parameters": innerRadius lets you pull the inside of the texture to the edge, repeat lets you loop the texture multiple times along the perimeter
yes! this is just a quick and dirty shader.

the game looks crazy, congrats on the release!
