Kwity is a very solid edge setting rush defender. He has no juice in pass rush and very little in his bag of tricks there. Great guy, great teammate, solid player. I think his archetype is an important one but easy to overlook as he doesn't pop off the screen. I am a fan!

Pierce outgraded Pittman on PFF the last two seasons (81.0 vs 70.8 rcv grade) at double the depth of target, with 2.10 yards per route run vs 1.46. Pierce is 25 with grades trending up every year (61→57→75→81) while Pittman is 28 with grades trending down (80→73→71). $29M with this cap is a steal.

I meant to write a Colts post mortem blog and it would certainly have included signing Pierce and trading Pittman.

Pittman has been a great player in Indy and I wish him well. Should be a big upgrade in PIT.
