Things have been really coming together the last few Discworld novels, and this is the best one yet. Vimes and the watch members are all great, the wordplay is impressive, and Ankh-Morpork feels fully realized. A lot I'm curious to see carried forward.

In retrospect, I really should have seen Galaxy coming for the next movie, given how blatant that foreshadowing line was in the first one.

As wholesome as Pokopia is, it does stand as an oddly on the nose reminder that Pokémon will outlive us all.

Koei Tecmo has been an incredible partner for Nintendo this last decade.

I can’t believe we’re getting an ambitious looking Tomodachi Life game so soon after getting Pokopia. Nintendo is FEASTING on the cozy games market this spring, all without a new Animal Crossing.

Maybe a hot take, but Sonic 2 is a better game if you don’t get the emeralds. The bonus stages aren’t fun, and the ending where Tails actually saves Sonic is a lot more satisfying than just seeing Super Sonic.

Ah. So it really is the Super Mario Bros. 2 World Island Odyssey Galaxy Movie.

Some words from Amelia

This might be Amelia’s first thunderstorm and I was worried it would scare her but she’s actually whining to go outside in to it.

I started a couple months ago and am reading Guards! Guards! now! So far have read Mort, Equal Rites, Wyrd Sisters, and Pyramids. Started but didn't finish Colour of Magic.

I've tried at least 5 games in the series and had never been able to get more than a few hours in until now, so I'm happy to finally have beaten at least one Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy
I've finally completed a Final Fantasy game, and it was the first one! Played the Pixel Remaster, and had a pretty good time, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Much more "Playable DnD" and less dramatic epic, at least until the end. Very cozy game.

I finally got my Switch 2 dock back after 2 weeks, time to enjoy all that extra power

I knew the Dragon Quest Builders formula was a winner but Pokopia seems to be living up to that potential and more. Can’t wait to play it this week.
