My little mutual aid team has fundraised over $250,000 in rent support over the last 3 months JUST for families at our neighborhood school.
$1 million for the whole city does NOT come close to meeting the scale and depth of need in our city.

I won’t be going back. Target has been a safe haven for ICE and that’s unforgivable. ICE continues to feel safest in the Quarry Target parking lot and using their handicap spots without intervention.
Don’t shop at Target, shop at immigrant owned businesses and co-ops instead.
How are they supposed to keep us safe when they can’t be held accountable?
I mean, if you just say MN and not MPLS, you get a lot more sales from people who might otherwise feel miffed that Minneapolis is getting the attention (again). Saint Paul, Roseville, Burnsville, Shakopee, and a lot of other suburbs were hit too.

ICE converting warehouses to deportation camps reminds me of Les Milles, a tile factory that was converted to an infamous deportation camp and prison by the French Vichy regime. Thousands of "enemy aliens" were imprisoned here, many of them were sent from there to Auschwitz and Dachau.
