(sorry for ranting @ u) but in any case i enjoy the process of improving my skills and working on my art techniques, whatever form it may take. its just hard to accept that most ppl do not care about it one bit, even established artists. ig i just have to let it slide but online discussions are... ☹️

ya same u_u well coming from a studio environment, ik it CAN be done with a ton of skill & artistry, so long as the 3d is only being used as a building block/ just to establish a rough basis. still, this means the artist needs to use their brain and that is a wildly unpopular methodology

also ive very rarely seen, in illustration/comics, 3d models used effectively/skillfully outside of studio-based pipelines? (or if they are, its usually bc the artist used to do studio work or learned it). its usually a straight trace and lacks life altogether

as the players u know *exactly* what went down but history is all about interpretation and everyone on all sides is going to interpret it differently. so it's rly nice to see how people might be reporting on events

for the record tho. the mythril eye articles were very cool to read (and also there was the Raven and the Harbor Herald for gridania and limsa respectively) cuz it's incredibly interesting & grounding to see the perspective of what regular people think of world events/lore, etc.
