We got a lot of stuff cooking in the oven and we're super excited to share what we got as soon as it's ready, so please be patient with us. It'll be worth it!

- We have been in contact with an artist to make a poster (which will be sold at the event!), logo, and mascot!
- We're likely going to implement a 12-team cap since this will be our first time running an event and we don't want to overwhelm ourselves with too many technical difficulties.

Hello cephalopods! You guys deserve a bit of an update as to what's going on behind the scenes:
- We're looking at an early October date, possibly the 3rd or 10th (both Sat).
- We're planning to charge $20 for spectators and somewhere between a $10-$15 competitor fee on top of that.

Feb-April: lots of events planned already
May/June: too soon for the staff to gather enough finances
July: Peak tourism season for Philadelphia
August/September: Too close to Riptide

So that leaves us with Oct/Nov/Dec.
