Oh I thought you could read it in the Alt Text, sorry! It says that Middlegame’s chess steps consist of: Attack and defense, positional maneuvers, combination and sacrifice. We were wondering if these applied to parts of the books and/or to characters?

Hi @seananmcguire.bsky.social as you know, Spain has had the pleasure to read Middlegame in Spanish recently, and @xavimalaga.bsky.social and I have a doubt. We looked up the middlegame phases in chess and we were wondering if these applied to characters or parts of the book? Or both?
Estoy muy de acuerdo en varios de los que mencionas como The Light of Uncommon Stars de Ryka Aoki, que fue uno de mis mejores lecturas en 2022 y The Shadow of what was Lost de James Islington! Librazos!
