perfect example of how to do something new with the spirit of the source. signalis is clearly inspired by silent hill and includes homages to the series, but it's not defined by it. it isn't a copycat, and that helped it give me a closer feeling to playing sh2 for the first time than any sh after 4
thinking about how signalis really did live up to the silent hill inspiration. never thought it would be done!
