Fun Fact about Grapplerun:
In older builds of the game, you could actually land a NEGATIVE score due to how the scoring system worked!
I decided to make the game round up your score because the old win screens just looked cruel. Case in point:

Update on Level 11: New decorations! The blue pencil is the Slide obstacle, accompanied by a red pencil for the jump obstacle! The sketches have random designs, positions, and rotations that shuffle everytime you restart!

The issue specifically was replacing the prototype tilesets with final ones. The old method had me essentially trace each layer, tile by tile. At first without even auto tiling. But there's a fill bucket option that replaces all instances of a tile with another. I've never felt more at bliss.
Hey everyone! Sorry for the long absence. Progress on Grapplerun had essentially halted because of how tedious my old mapmaking pipeline was. I... simply couldn't find the drive to do it for a 4-layer level. But now, I fixed an issue with it, so progress should start again!

Status Update on Grapplerun:
Level 11 is now functional! (as in it's in the game and bare minimum playable and clearable)
Now, I'll be focusing on the graphics of the level. I've already created the level's tilesets, so now I just have to reskin the level.

right now i'm just spawning them in manually, with space spawning an entity with the mouse-follower job and shift spawning an entity with "placeholder" which just prints stuff to console to let you know it exists lol
made the basis for a task system where each entity is given a job, which generates a list of tasks for day, noon, and night based on the job as well as other factors i'll show off later if this test project even continues

The most amount of layers in one level is around 2 in the demo. This level layout has 4.

A fun detail about Grapplerun's development:
The layout drawings from each level end up looking like crazy scribbles.
But it works: the resulting level ends up being large enough to even reach 8200x5200ish pixels! Below is a layout drawing from the first level.
